The Government of Peru, through the Ministry of Production and with support from ProInversión, signed a contract on March 30 for the development of the Ancón Industrial Park with Junefield (Holdings) Limited. The agreement marks a significant step in one of the country’s largest projects focused on investment, competitiveness, and job creation.
The project is considered important for Peru’s productive growth as it aims to attract new investment and generate quality employment. The signing ceremony included Juan Carlos Requejo Alemán, Vice Minister of Micro and Small Enterprises and Industry, and Luis Del Carpio, Executive President of ProInversión.
According to officials at the event, the Ancón Industrial Park will serve as a major logistics and industrial hub connected to key infrastructure such as Jorge Chávez International Airport and the ports of Callao and Chancay. This connectivity is expected to reduce logistics costs for businesses while improving national competitiveness. The park will cover more than 1,300 hectares and plans to host over 230 companies from various sectors. Organizers expect that about 120 thousand jobs will be created through this initiative.
With the contract now signed, work will begin on studies and an initial investment plan designed to ensure orderly growth that aligns with national needs. Authorities say this project positions Ancón Industrial Park as an economic driver for Peru in coming decades.
