The Ministry of Health of Peru announced on April 25 the launch of a digital vaccination card, providing citizens with fast, secure, and reliable access to their immunization records.

The new platform is available on the official portal at https://minsadigital.minsa.gob.pe/login. Users can log in from their mobile phones or computers using their national identification number and password. Those without an account can create one by selecting the option “¿Eres nuevo? Crea tu cuenta.”

Once logged in, individuals have access to the section “Ingresa a tu carné de vacunación,” where they can view detailed information about all vaccines received. The system also allows parents and caregivers to register minor children, making it easier to check children’s regular vaccination schedules and see which doses have been administered or are still pending.

The digital card offers additional features such as downloading a vaccination certificate that includes a QR code for quick validation and authenticity verification by any institution. According to the Ministry of Health, this initiative simplifies access to health information while reducing the risk of losing physical cards and encourages preventive health practices by ensuring people maintain control over their health data at all times.

From April 25 through May 3, Peru is observing Vaccination Week in the Americas, focusing on strengthening regular immunizations for children, adolescents, pregnant women, adults, and seniors. The ministry also reminds citizens that vaccinations are available year-round according to vaccine stock at healthcare facilities nationwide.
