The Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) announced on March 1 a new series of conferences focused on public integrity and the fight against corruption, scheduled to take place throughout 2026. The initiative is organized by the Secretariat of Public Integrity (SIP) in partnership with the National School of Public Administration (ENAP) at Servir.
The conference cycle aims to strengthen a culture of integrity and prevent corruption within government institutions. It offers free virtual sessions designed for both public servants and citizens, focusing on building skills to identify risks, make ethical decisions, and apply current legal frameworks in public management.
The program will feature 60 live conferences divided into three thematic modules. Topics will include fundamental concepts about public integrity and anti-corruption efforts, strategies for prevention, contemporary challenges, as well as emerging approaches in the field. Both national and international experts are expected to share their knowledge during these sessions.
“Desde la Secretaría de Integridad Pública seguimos impulsando espacios de formación que permitan fortalecer las capacidades del servicio civil para prevenir la corrupción. Este ciclo de conferencias contribuye a consolidar una gestión pública más transparente y orientada al servicio de la ciudadanía,” said Alexandra Cabrera, secretary at the Secretariat of Public Integrity at PCM.
The virtual conferences will run from March 24 through November 25, with certificates available for each session or module completed according to ENAP’s attendance requirements. The first conference titled “La corrupción como problema público” is set for Tuesday, March 24 at 10 a.m., led by Fernando Hurtado, Deputy Secretary for Strategic Management of Public Integrity.
