The National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) held the first session of an educational event for the Universidad de Lima community on April 7, aiming to teach participants how to vote in the upcoming election scheduled for Sunday, April 12.
The event is part of efforts to encourage informed and responsible participation during a key moment for the country. The ONPE chief, Piero Corvetto Salinas, greeted attendees and said, “As alumni of this House of Studies, it is especially significant to see how informed and responsible participation is promoted at a crucial time for the country.”
Additional sessions are planned for tomorrow and Friday at 2:00 p.m. in Aula Magna 4 in Building O.
