The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC), led by Minister Aldo Prieto Barrera, held a meeting on March 26 with representatives from the District Municipality of Sucre to address road emergencies and improve transport infrastructure in the district of Sucre, province of Celendín, Cajamarca.

The discussion focused on the current condition of local roads and bridges that are facing limitations affecting travel for residents and economic activities. Municipal representatives described how these issues have impacted daily life in the area.

During the meeting, proposals were considered for interventions such as renewing bridges including Cantange, el Sauco San Isidro, and la Toma. Plans also included improving interurban road services by prioritizing strategic sections connecting populated centers within Sucre. Technical assistance was provided by Provias Descentralizado.
