The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) held a meeting with the mayor of Pucará district, Segundo Hernández Mondragón, on March 20 to review the status of investments in small bridge projects within the area. The session, conducted through Provias Descentralizado (PVD), focused on monitoring progress for bridge renewal initiatives in Chorro, Cabuyas, and Grau sectors.

These projects are part of prioritized interventions aimed at improving road connectivity and transit for local residents. During the meeting, technical assistance provided by Provias Descentralizado to the local government was discussed as a way to strengthen the preparation and review of technical documents required for project advancement.

The importance of coordinated work between MTC and municipal governments was highlighted as essential for ensuring proper implementation of investments, particularly in rural areas where road infrastructure is crucial for economic and social development.

According to the ministry, these efforts reaffirm its commitment to advancing projects that enhance national connectivity and contribute to closing gaps while supporting the well-being of all Peruvians.
