Ministry of Transport and Communications trains entrepreneurs for international market competition

The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) announced on April 14 that it has provided training to micro and small business owners in seven regions through its Exporta Fácil tool, aiming to boost their competitiveness in international markets.

This initiative is intended to help entrepreneurs access foreign markets more easily by simplifying export processes and reducing logistical costs. The MTC said the training sessions took place in March across Lima, Arequipa, Piura, Ayacucho, Lambayeque, San Martín, and Áncash. Participants received practical tools designed to facilitate product shipments abroad using the national postal network.

According to the ministry, a total of 11 training sessions were held with support from regional governments and strategic partners such as SUNAT Huaraz, PromPerú, Mincetur, DIRCETUR Piura, the Association of Exporters, and the Lima Chamber of Commerce. More than 4,000 entrepreneurs have been trained between 2025 and early 2026 with the goal of promoting their entry into foreign trade.

The Ministry emphasized its commitment to strengthening inter-institutional cooperation to promote entrepreneur internationalization. “El Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones destacó la importancia de continuar fortaleciendo estas acciones de articulación interinstitucional para impulsar la internacionalización de los emprendedores y fortalecer el comercio exterior en beneficio del desarrollo económico del país,” said the ministry.
