The Ministry of Transport and Communications announced on Apr. 22 that the Exporta Fácil program has facilitated more than 118,357 international shipments since its launch in 2007, reaching a total free on board (FOB) value of over USD 45 million. The ministry said this initiative has become an important tool for enabling Peruvian micro and small businesses to access international markets.
Exporta Fácil connects entrepreneurs with customers in countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, France, Canada, Chile, Spain and Mexico. The main products exported through this platform include handicrafts, textiles, jewelry and goods made from natural materials. These exports reflect growing international demand for Peruvian products.
The progress of Exporta Fácil is supported by cooperation between institutions aimed at strengthening the skills of entrepreneurs. Serpost has signed 24 cooperation agreements to date and carried out 160 activities—including training sessions, fairs, webinars and working groups—in partnership with more than 45 public and private organizations during 2025 and 2026. According to the press release: “Esta estrategia permitió ampliar el alcance de la herramienta Exporta Fácil y permitir que más negocios peruanos fortalezcan sus procesos de internacionalización, con acceso a información, asistencia técnica y servicios orientados a dinamizar su participación en el comercio exterior.”
