The Ministry of Production announced on April 7 that it is supporting the development and expansion of several digital education platforms in Peru through its program ProInnóvate. The ministry is providing both funding and technical guidance to help creators validate and scale their solutions for inclusive education.

This initiative aims to address current educational needs by making learning more accessible for students and teachers across different regions. The ministry’s support highlights a broader commitment to improving social inclusion and living conditions for communities throughout the country, according to the official website.

Among the projects being supported are Cachimboz, which uses short video lessons similar to social media reels; Virtual Pre, an online academy offering live classes at affordable prices; Code en mi Cole, a platform teaching programming through video game creation; Bilingües, which uses games to teach English with an all-women teaching team; and Praggma, a service focused on professional upskilling with flexible certification programs.

The Ministry of Production serves as the governing body for national policies in fishing, aquaculture, micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises, as well as industry development. It issues regulations designed to foster sustainable growth in these sectors according to its official website. The ministry also operates multiple facilities in San Isidro, Lima—including its central headquarters—and provides services such as technical assistance and training aimed at boosting productivity among producers and fishermen throughout Peru.

According to its official website, the organization has received international recognition from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) for its efforts toward sustainable fishing practices. These actions reflect ongoing work by the Ministry of Production under ministerial leadership to strengthen economic opportunities while promoting sustainability.
