The Ministry of Production announced on Mar. 14 that 74 percent of digitalization projects funded through its ProInnóvate program have led to increased sales for participating companies.

This development is significant as it demonstrates the impact of digital technologies on improving business operations and competitiveness among micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (mipyme) in Peru. The ministry said these initiatives help unify, automate, and enhance production processes across various economic sectors.

According to the ministry, the adoption of digital tools allows companies to streamline commercial and operational management, automate tasks, organize information, integrate finances, reduce costs and time, and manage human resources more efficiently. Seven companies that received financial support from ProInnóvate are now active in the national market and are aiming to expand internationally.

Among these solutions is Firmeasy Legal, a platform enabling secure digital signatures for documents such as contracts and payment slips. Laus offers software for occupational health and safety compliance. Beex uses artificial intelligence agents to improve efficiency in collections and telemarketing by centralizing communication channels. MayuGo provides online education for technical teams using short courses designed for immediate application. BIT24 targets small retailers with a platform to digitize sales management. Dibal delivers integrated management systems for restaurants covering sales control and electronic invoicing. MaravIA employs artificial intelligence to automate business processes like inventory management and cash flow forecasting.

The ministry said that with financial support and technical assistance from ProInnóvate, these digital solutions contribute to modernizing Peru’s business sector. The goal is for mipyme and startups to transition into a digital environment that meets evolving market needs.
