The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation organized the international seminar “Evidencia que transforma: mejores intervenciones públicas” on April 21 in Lima. The event was held in partnership with Innovations for Poverty Action at the Lima Convention Center and aimed to modernize public management by promoting the use of data science, artificial intelligence, and rigorous methodologies among sector leaders and specialists.
This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen decision-making within the ministry by using evidence-based approaches. The Office of Monitoring and Impact Evaluation led the organization of the seminar, which focused on key topics such as technological modernization, artificial intelligence applications, and integrating evidence into policy design.
