The Ministry of Health carried out a specialized health campaign in the district of Nauta from April 15 to 17, providing a total of 4,248 free medical services as part of its Minsa Móvil strategy.
This initiative aimed to bring specialized healthcare closer to hundreds of families in the Loreto region. The campaign offered various services including pediatrics, cardiology, ophthalmology, dermatology, gynecology, internal medicine, family medicine, general medicine, pediatric dentistry, ultrasound examinations, immunizations and screenings. Children with their parents and elderly residents attended the event seeking comprehensive and timely care.
In addition to diagnostics and consultations during the campaign days, patients received free medications and reading glasses. This allowed them to begin treatment immediately without interruption and helped improve continuity of care for local residents.
The health campaign was organized in coordination with the Regional Health Management Office of Loreto and the Integrated Health Network of Nauta. These joint efforts were intended to ensure timely access to quality healthcare for people living in this area.
According to organizers, this intervention demonstrates the Ministry’s ongoing commitment to delivering specialized health services where they are most needed. The program seeks to strengthen healthcare delivery while reducing gaps in access across regions such as Loreto.
