The Ministry of Health announced on April 28 that the National School of Public Health has launched several virtual channels to provide courses, master’s programs, and diplomas to health professionals across the country.
This initiative aims to strengthen the skills of healthcare workers by offering accessible academic resources. The National School of Public Health is described as an academic community dedicated to providing high-quality training, education, and research in public health with a focus on social responsibility.
The newly formalized virtual channels include a web portal (https://www.gob.pe/ensap), a YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/c/escuelanacionaldesaludpublicadelperu), a virtual campus (https://campusensap.minsa.gob.pe/), and a WhatsApp channel (https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbCptdzC1Fu7NeHRnK3m).
Currently, six free online courses are available nationwide. These include Intercultural Health; Humanized Healthcare; Promotion of Healthy Lifestyles; Digital Literacy and Transformation for Peru: Concepts and Essential Tools; Socioemotional Skills in the Workplace; and Comprehensive Dengue Care. All course content will remain available until the end of the year for all personnel within the National Health System.
This flexible approach allows participants to learn at their own pace, supporting continuous professional development for those responsible for public well-being throughout the country. The courses are part of the ‘National Plan for Training in Public Health-2026,’ which was made official through Directoral Resolution No. D000006-2026-ENSAP-MINSA.
