The Ministry of Health, through the National School of Public Health (Ensap), announced on March 16 the launch of six free online courses available across the country. The initiative aims to improve human resource management in the health sector by offering massive open online courses (MOOCs) to all personnel within the National Health System.

The courses offered include Intercultural Health, Humanized Health Care, Promotion of Health: Healthy Lifestyle, Digital Literacy and Transformation for Peru: Essential Concepts and Tools, Socioemotional Skills in the Workplace, and Comprehensive Dengue Care. These programs are part of the “National Plan for Training in Public Health-2026,” which was formalized by Directoral Resolution No. D000006-2026-ENSAP-MINSA.

Ensap will ensure that these MOOCs remain accessible throughout the year, allowing participants to learn at their own pace. The content is designed to support ongoing professional development for those responsible for public health across Peru.

Registration links for each course are provided on Ensap’s online platform. This approach is intended to facilitate continuous learning and better equip health professionals to address current and future challenges in public health.

The permanent availability and flexibility of these courses reflect an effort by the Ministry of Health to strengthen skills among its workforce and enhance responses to national health needs.
