The Ministry of Health carried out actions on Apr. 7 to prevent the spread of the Aedes aegypti mosquito, which transmits dengue, at the Chorrillos Military School.
These measures are part of ongoing efforts to protect public health and reduce the risk of dengue transmission in institutional settings.
During the intervention, technical training was provided to medical staff at the school. The aim was to strengthen their skills in monitoring and identifying risk factors associated with mosquito breeding.
The session also included a review of preventive measures and compliance with current health regulations focused on eliminating mosquito breeding sites. In addition, an inspection was conducted throughout the facilities, where potential breeding spots were identified and both physical and chemical control measures were implemented to lower health risks.
The Ministry said it remains committed to continuing interventions that help prevent and control dengue while promoting safe and healthy environments.
