The Ministry of Health announced on Apr. 7 that it will hold a free medical campaign at the Hospital de Lircay, located in the province of Angaraes, Huancavelica. The event will take place from Wednesday, April 8 to Friday, April 10, and is part of the Minsa Móvil initiative aimed at increasing access to healthcare in remote areas.
This campaign seeks to address gaps in specialized healthcare by providing comprehensive services to people of all ages. Residents can receive consultations and treatment in ten different medical specialties simply by presenting their identification document.
The Ministry said that the campaign will offer high-demand specialties such as pediatrics, urology, geriatrics, endocrinology, and cardiology. Additional services include general surgery, internal medicine, and family medicine. The program includes both clinical diagnosis and free medication distribution for those who attend.
According to the announcement, this action reaffirms the Ministry’s commitment to improving access to specialized health services by bringing comprehensive care directly to regions with limited resources.
The Ministry invited residents of Angaraes and surrounding areas to participate in the campaign from April 8-10 starting at 8:00 a.m., encouraging them “to take advantage of this free campaign and care for their health and that of their families.”
