The Hospital Nacional Hipólito Unanue, part of the Ministry of Health, announced on April 29 the delivery of 80 new computers aimed at strengthening its operational capacity for patients and users of specialized services.

The hospital said this equipment was obtained through coordinated efforts with the Seguro Integral de Salud via the Office of Insurance. The move is described as part of a joint effort within the health sector to enhance technological infrastructure.

According to the announcement, the new computers have been assigned to both the Office of Insurance and the Department of Pharmacy. These actions are intended to support ongoing improvements in institutional operational capacity promoted by the Ministry of Health.

The hospital reported that this recent innovation is a result of technical and administrative coordination among various departments, enabling proper implementation of digital solutions for healthcare services under optimal conditions.

The equipment will be used to boost hospital interoperability, making processes such as referrals, counter-referrals, and management of medical records more efficient. The implementation aims to optimize service times, reduce administrative burdens for patients, and help health personnel meet performance indicators.
