BBVA Peru announced on Apr. 23 that customers can request a salary advance to help cover expenses related to year-end social events. The bank outlined how this service allows individuals with a BBVA payroll account to access part of their monthly salary in advance, which can be used for various personal needs.
This initiative aims to provide financial flexibility during the busy final months of the year, when many people face increased spending due to gatherings and celebrations. BBVA Peru said that the service is designed so customers do not have to miss important events because of financial constraints.
The process for requesting an advance is available through both the BBVA website and mobile app. Customers are encouraged to plan their finances before requesting an amount, ensuring they only borrow what they can repay comfortably. Requirements include being at least 18 years old (and no older than nearly 85), having a good credit history, holding a BBVA account or credit card, not having outstanding debts with the bank, and being registered as an individual with business activity. The maximum amount available is S/2,500 per request, subject to commission fees and repayment within 30 days.
